Jim grinding up Vitimin C (ascorbic acid) for liquid at bottom of bowels to keep pears from spoiling immediately once their are cut

Jim and Carol starting to cut pears. The 3 large bowels on buffett are (1) for pear cores & seeds, (2) for pear peels, and (3) for good pear pieces
