The beginning of the 10K long race with over 25 runners. By the end, the winning runners had past the slowest ones by over a full track lap!
That evening Dorothy and I attended one of the best concerts I've ever heard. The highlight was thee middle piece, Mozart piano concerto number 24 in C minor K 491. Our conductor/pianist
was one of the best in the world, Robert Levin. You could tell he loved the music as he performed difficult extremely fast passages on the piano, and he communicated that love to
the rest of the orchestra to produce a fantastic overall performance. At the end, after we applauded him out three times, he gladly gave another Mozart piano encore!
